The Procession
Meet · 11:30 · Tumble Surgery
Everyone gathers at Tumble Surgery. The procession forms up here, at Bryntawel and in the surgery car park.
Set off · 12:00
The vicar reads from the Bible. Tina Thomas, 'Mother Rebecca', reads to the Merched Becca, who shout back. The wooden gate is pushed over and Cragen Becca leads off, blowing the horn.
Through the village
In order: Aled and Danny on the marching drums, Mother Becca and the Merched Becca, the Survivor Dancers behind a car playing music, schools and public, and horses at the rear.
Parc y Mynydd Mawr · 12:20
The procession reaches the park, where the Mynydd Mawr Choir sings to bring it to a close.

Taking Part
Dress as Merched Becca
The marchers walk as "Rebecca's daughters", the protesters who disguised themselves in women's clothing. Create your own outfit: a long skirt or dress, a shawl, a bonnet or hat. Make it yours. Families, schools and clubs are all welcome to join.
Accessibility
The route follows public pavements and roads through the village. Step-free throughout, though some sections slope. Wheelchair users and pushchairs are very welcome. Accessible toilets are available at Parc y Mynydd Mawr.
